Battlemind to Home Mental Health Summit

The Military Family Research Institute, in partnership with the Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indiana National Guard and the Department of Veterans Affairs are pleased to present the Battlemind to Home Mental Health Summit 2017, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. The event will be held at the Indianapolis Marriott East, located at 7202 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Each year,  200 community leaders, behavioral health providers and human service providers, representing 100 organizations from Indiana and beyond, gather to improve their knowledge about military and veteran families and connect the systems that best support them. This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Stephen Cozza. Breakout sessions will focus on women veterans, access to care, family reintegration, behavioral health issues, and resources available. We will again hear more about the Veteran Treatment Courts and their expansion around the state and about Joining Community Forces Indiana efforts. Now in its eighth year, Battlemind has developed a reputation for helping community partners gain greater appreciation and understanding of the challenges facing returning combat veterans and their families, and have sparked increased community interest in joint collaborations for further enhancing care for veterans.

Attendees receive breakfast and lunch, all symposium materials and continuing education credits (CEUs). Registration is $50 per person.
