Battlemind to Home II Symposium

The Roudebush VA Medical Center, the Department of Labor, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University are pleased to present the Battlemind to Home II Symposium, Nov. 16-17, 2011.
The symposium aims to increase community awareness of the challenges military families face when service members return home, and educate attendees about the mental health concerns, legal options and supports available to veterans in the community.
Topics include:
- chronic pain issues;
- homelessness;
- employment and academic reintegration;
- post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);
- substance abuse; and
- legal issues for veterans
Location: Indianapolis Marriott East
7202 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, Ind.
Participants will receive breakfast, lunch, and a one night stay at the Marriott free of charge.
Continuing education units (CEUs) will also be available.
